ABOUT
High Skool Kronicles is an online news blog and social networking community that aims to inspire deeper conversations among young adults on a global level. HSK features articles that are written by and for young adults on topics ranging from entertainment and politics to art and technology.
HSK was launched in November 2009, with the simple goal of creating an open forum where the ideas and expectations of students from all cultural backgrounds could be voiced.
The original contributors to HSK consisted of 12 extraordinary students from Sylmar High School, who have since joined forces with some of the most talented and forward-thinking writers from across the world.
HSK fosters cross-communication among youth about issues that are important and relevant to them. We ask our readers to be active participants in society, believing that their ideas and aspirations help to define the world in which we live.
We welcome your participation in HSK and encourage you to subscribe to our daily digest. You can also follow us on Twitter, and/or share posts with friends via Facebook. If you are interested in becoming a contributor to HSK or would like to know more about becoming an Editorial Intern, please contact the editorial team at info@highskoolkronicles.com
. Please note that the ideas and opinions expressed on HSK are not reflective of any one school or school district.
We appreciate you stopping by and look forward to hearing your kronicles!
